PERFORMANCE. PRODUCTION. ARRANGEMENT. SONGWRITING.
Ask what you can discover about the world and your self through music.
My Musical Philosophy:
Work is the process of creativity. When I play music it is about the experience and meaning of sharing the work with myself and others, whether there is an audience or not. Music is just the catalyst to understanding why, what, and for whom we create. My job is to help facilitate unselfconscious ideas that facilitate the work.
My Teaching Philosophy:
Music is for everyone and everyone can be musical. It is true that between persons there are variations in skill, but that fact speaks more to the beauty of human diversity than one's ability to be musical. Don’t believe the lies you’ve been told about your own abilities. You are creative and talented.
Be encouraged. Each of us is capable of different musical possibilities. With a bit of hard work, focus, and the intention to have fun and express yourself, you will be able to develop a musical voice.
